Antemortem Fracture Archive

Assessments of Time-Since-Injury (TSI) for antemortem fractures heavily influence determinations of accidental vs. non-accidental origin of perimortem fractures in cases of suspected abuse. Accurate TSI fracture estimation depends upon interpretations of large forensic samples of non-accidental trauma. This antemortem fracture archival database consists of a searchable database of antemortem fracture imagery incorporating macroscopic, microscopic, and radiological modalities for use in TSI comparison and estimation.
